Developing an American National Standard is not a fast process, nor should it be. ANSI's Essential Requirements mandate a rigorous, consensus-driven methodology designed to ensure that any standard bearing the American National Standard designation is open, balanced, and technically sound.

BEPP Registered Standard Projects
The BEPP has registered eighteen (18) Executive Protection proposed American National Standard projects with ANSI.

ANSI updates and publishes lists of currently approved and proposed American National Standards (ANS) weekly. These comprehensive lists are freely available for download in Excel or PDF format and are searchable by developer name, standards title, or designation.
