Because the purposed EP Standards are for the industry, the BEPP believes that it is important to provide continued updates on the process. That is why we have created this page, to be transparent and to keep you informed.
We will continue to update this page as we make advances with Standard development and other BEPP projects.
Special Advisor Board
The BEPP Special Advisory Board was created to have distinguished industry leaders provide guidance and expertise to the BEPP initiatives.
By applying their vast experience in their respective industries they will assist the BEPP in shaping the professionals of today and make a lasting impression on future professionals.

Technical Committee Updates
The Technical Committee is comprised of seasoned industry professionals responsible for developing new or revised language for ANIS purposed Standards. This Committee will also approve or reject recommendations made by the Working Group.
The BEPP Technical Committee is the consensus body and will follow the voting procedures.
Working Group Updates
The Working Group is comprised of industry professionals who make recommendations to the Technical Committee for final consideration, revision, and approval.
Certification Test Updates
The Board of Executive Protection Professionals (BEPP) has partnered with Prometric to develop the first-of-its-kind Board Certification exam for Executive Protection Operations.
The objective of the initiative is to create a nationally recognized certification for executive protection. Passing this exam will award the individual the accreditation of:
“Certified Executive Security Operations Professional” (CESOP)
