The process of developing an ANSI Standard and achieving Board Certification involves significant financial investment by the BEPP. As a result of ongoing expenses incurred in pursuing this initiative, the BEPP, a 501(c)(3) organization, is accepting donations to assist with administrative and development costs.
In keeping with our commitment to transparency, BEPP clearly discloses its processes and expenses. Donations received would be applied to the following:
Development Fees (Total $175,000)

Charged by ANSI for reviewing and approving submitted standards ($75,000)

Charged by Prometric for Board Certification test development ($100,000)
In accordance with IRS regulations, the BEPP is a 501(c)3 organization, and all donations are tax-deductible. In addition, no Board Members, Officers, Special Advisors, or ESOC speakers are paid a salary or receive any financial compensation for their time or efforts.

Your donation will be utilized for the fees that are associated with the submission to the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Standard for Providing Executive Protection. Donations funds will also be used to develop the first Board Certification for individuals to earn the Certified Executive Security Operation Professional (CESOP) designation.

Donations would not include any right of the donor to submit content or text for the standard.

Proprietary in this context means products or services that are the property of an owner and cannot be obtained or recreated without the consent of the owner. For example, an Board of Executive Protection Professionals (BEPP) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) may not endorse or require the purchase or use of brand-name tools or components, licenses, manufacturer lists, service provider lists or copyrighted materials.
** Once an individual passes the Board Certification Test, they will earn the designation and accreditation of Board “Certified Executive Security Operations Professional”.
*** Waived test fees are applied to 50 tests per calendar year for Platinum and Gold donors. Test fees include – application fee and test/retest fee
